Welcome and thank you for visiting Something Nice For Kids- the boutique where you can always count on finding ‘something nice’ for the little people in your life.  The idea for this online store began with the search for my daughters first Greek family occasion outfit while on maternity leave.

After countless hours searching through retail outlets (and sore feet)I found some beautiful things, and yes, some pretty ordinary stuff too. I decided then to move my search online.  Through my many hours of searching (and yes some at very odd hours too), I found not only the perfect outfit for my little baby girl, I discovered kids wear, accessories not sold in Australia.

Determined to offer mums, aunties and friends access to these same designers (without the overseas price tags), I set about to short listing kids clothing designers that offered something different to the Australian kids fashion market.  The result of these hours and hours of searching and negotiating with local, overseas labels was Something Nice For Kids. The online boutique began trading online and through our home studio in Sydney in July 2008.

Vicky Stavroulakis (Owner/Founder)

My name is Vicky and I am the owner and founder of Something Nice For Kids. I am a mum to two children Erini and Dion (not officially in the above photo) and wife to Emmanuel. I work part-time and also work on Somethingniceforkids.com.au every other waking moment.  I can pretty much say that I am a bit of a workholic, particularly when it comes to Something Nice For Kids. Whether the team or myself are working on securing new designers, photographing new collections, through to taking your customer enquiries and packing your orders, we aim to create an online shopping environment that doesn't have any airs about it. You should have a great online experience and to tell your friends about us too!

Emmanuel Stavroulakis (Owner/General Manager)

Emmanuel, is Vicky;s husband. He has been Vicky's rock with regards to running the store. He was instrumental in helping Vicky launch Something Nice For Kids, particularly with the technical and financial aspects of starting an online business and of course organising the local australia post for your parcel deliveries.

Jenny Guirguis (Our Finance Guru)

Jenny arrived at Something Nice For Kids recently. With a background in accounting and finance in the corporate sector, Jenny brings with her a wealth of knowledge on the importing and financial aspects of our business. Jenny, is also a mum of two gorgeous kids Joseph and Giselle.
