How to Pack Your Hospital Bag during Pregnancy

Yes you know you have to pack a hospital bag during the final phase of your pregnancy, but who has the time or the energy to do it! Especially when aches and pains start to haunt you, you find the task of packing a bag incredibly daunting. Make a List

You need to make a list of all the things that you will have to carry with you to the hospital. Pack the Items You and Your Partner Will Need

You need to carry a separate bag with the items you and your partner will need during your stay. You will have to keep this bag separate from the baby’s bag so you will be able to organize the items well. Make sure you carry a few front open tops and blouses which will aid you when you feed the little one. You will need plenty of comfortable clothes so you will not be inconvenienced if a few items get soiled during the stay. It won’t hurt to pack extra clothes anyway and you will regret packing too little, not packing too much. Carry your toiletries as well along with your combs, brushes and other accessories that you need. If you want, you can even take your makeup with you because there will be lots of visitors to see the little one! Your spouse will also have to have his clothes, towels, shoes and other items such as books or magazines that will keep him entertained.

Pack the Items That Your Baby Will Need

The items that the baby needs have to also be packed well. Make sure you wash all the clothes before packing it all in the bag. You will have to have lots of little clothes, hats, mittens, blankets, a towel for baby and diapers. The baby lotions and soaps need to also be packed in the bag.

Keep the Bags Ready
